Introduction

Welcome to No Place Like Holm, Inc. - your dog's home away from home, while you're away from home! We are a small, family run, dog care business located in Stockbridge, MA - in the Berkshires. Your dog stays in our home, so unlike other boarding places, they do NOT spend the night alone, waiting for the employees to return in the morning.

We have a dedicated doggie room, which has heat and AC, and opens into a large fenced yard where the dogs spend six to eight hours a day running and playing with other dogs. Dogs are divided into play groups according to size and temperament, to ensure that all have fun and are safe and confident. At night, they each have their own 4' x 4' pen, with a comfy bed to sleep on, so they can rest up for another day's play come morning. Meals are fed in their separate pens as well - so they can eat undisturbed.

Ten dogs is our max, so we DO fill up quickly, especially on holidays. The dogs are usually out in the yard by 7:30 in the morning, and the last group comes in by dark. All go out again between 10 and 11 at night, to get ready for sleep time. We give lots of individual attention - special diets and special needs are no problem. We have over 30 years experience in the dog care field, so you can be confident that your dog is getting the best care available. Sherry also shows and trains her own dogs - in Obedience, Agility and Breed. Occasional lessons (behavior and manners, as well as agility) are also offered in our securely fenced agility field.
